First in a Wild Cow Milking competition the team with the most coordinated effort usually wins. By comparison in the investment world usually the team that is most effective at analyzing and tying together both the macro information and company specific data points wins. Second just like the current investment landscape rodeos are chaotic. In Alberta when things get a little nuts we say they are getting “western”.

ExxonMobil announced June 22 it had doubled its natural gas processing capacity on the Western Slope and planned to drill more wells in the area over the next several years. “Actions speak louder than words” Stein said. “Some of the largest North American and global energy companies are busy working and investing in Colorado’s future. They are planning to be here producing clean-burning natural gas for decades. ”But state Rep. Frank McNulty R-Highlands Ranch said companies like ExxonMobil have the money needed to comply with Colorado’s new rules. “They can absorb the higher costs of production that are associated with the oil and gas rules” McNulty said.
