Therefore, those invested
in blue-chip or fundamentally-strong mid-caps should not panic in the current
market conditions and hold on to their positions. Average out

The number of children needing care is growing, but the space and equipment to treat them are not. Children’s hospitals are operating at or near capacity. Without additional capital investment in medical equipment and facilities, children’s hospitals simply will not be able to meet the needs of the state’s expanding pediatric population. Wondrous advances in technology and research are bringing hope to children and their families who were without hope before, even those suffering the most serious childhood illnesses and injuries. But children’s hospitals must have access to these latest advances in order to effectively treat these children. Proposition 3 – the Children’s Hospital Bond – must pass if children’s hospitals are to have the resources required to treat and cure the growing number of children with specialized health-care needs throughout California. Proposition 3 is a sound investment in facilities and technology that will enable care of children in our community for generations to come.
